Ballistol Suppressor Cleaner
Self-cleaning · Acid-free · Material-friendly
Specialized suppressor cleaner with surfactants, acid-free. Automatically dissolves and neutralizes fouling residues without the need for tools. Contains corrosion inhibitor and is gentle on surface finishes.
Volume: 500 ml
Instructions for use:
- Seal the suppressor on one end and fill it completely with the cleaner. Let it act for at least 2 hours – fouling residues will dissolve on their own.
- For suppressors exposed to high firing loads, slightly heat the cleaner (approx. 40 °C) and extend the exposure time to at least 4 hours.
- Then remove the cleaner from the suppressor.
- To remove remaining residues:
- Fill the suppressor halfway with clean water, seal the other end, and shake thoroughly.
- Repeat as needed until the water is free of soot particles.
- If the suppressor cannot be sealed due to its design, it can be fully immersed in the cleaner.
- Suitable also for disassembled suppressors – immerse dirty parts in the cleaner, then brush and rinse with water after the exposure time.
