The steel construction ensures stability during use and proper alignment of the slide within the installation tool.
Note: You will notice that the CZ-75 slide shoe is not symmetrical. It is purposely relieved on one end so that you can screw in 2 of the slide support pads right up against the sides of your slide. The other 2 simply lock against the shoe itself.
This shoe is unique in that it does not actually pull the slide down like the other shoes, but rather just aligns it so that you can clamp it with the upper section. Just make sure you have the shoe itself clamped securely in place and the side support tabs screwed against the slide to provide the utmost support prior to bringing down the top section and clamping the slide in place.
