LEE Micrometer Full Length Sizing 3-Die Set – 6.5 Creedmoor + Peak Alloy

Die set for reloading 6.5 Creedmoor + Peak Alloy cartridges. This set is designed for reloading both new and fired Peak Alloy steel cases.

Compared to the standard 6.5 Creedmoor die set, the primary difference is the modified dimensions of the sizing die. The expander pin in the sizing die is also dimensionally different and hardened to better withstand wear when sizing steel cases. The +Peak die set also includes a flaring die that expands the case mouth to prevent the bullet from being scratched by the sharp edge of the steel case mouth during seating.

Important Notice: Full-length resizing of steel cases requires significantly more force than resizing brass cases. Be sure to use a generous amount of a high-performance case lubricant, such as Lee Resizing Lubricant. If resistance becomes excessive during resizing, remove the case, reapply the lubricant evenly, reinsert the case into the die, and complete the resizing operation.

If you are reloading ammunition for hunting, or if your firearm's magazine limits the overall cartridge length and prevents the bullet from contacting the rifling, we recommend using the Lee Factory Crimp Die to achieve the best possible accuracy.
