A single LEE Bullet Seating Die 45 COLT

Caliber: 45 Long Colt
Thread: 7/8"-14

The seating die is used for accurate seating of the bullet into the cartridge case. The use of a proper seating die ensures that the bullet is always seated correctly aligned and at a given length.

If you are not using a separate crimp die, you will appreciate the option of using the two built-in crimp stages inside the die. The first stage will perform a light Taper Crimp, while the second will perform a full Roll Crimp. The deeper the die is screwed in (the closer it is to the shell holder), the stronger the crimp will be.

The seating depth of the bullet is adjusted by the set screw at the top of the die.
