A single Lee Collet Necksizing Die 204 RUGER for reloading.
Caliber: 204 Ruger
A single Lee Collet Die that uses a Collet to squeeze a Mandrel, creating a precisely aligned case neck while reducing run out. Sizes just the neck and requires no lubrication.
Because of the principle of the neck die function, where the die body remains "inflated" to match the chamber of the weapon from which it was fired, we recommend that only cartridges for the specific weapons, from which these cartridges were fired, be neck-reloaded. Because of the tighter clearances between the cartridge case and chamber, there may be a slight resistance when loading cartridges into the chamber. For this reason, it is recommended to neck-reload cartridges for repeating weapons only, never for self-loading weapons.
If you’re a long-time user of Lee Collet Neck Sizing Die you may notice we have modified the Collet so a small portion of the neck protrudes through the end of the Collet-Sizing portion. This often-requested modification was implemented in 2019.
This change allows the portion of the neck that protrudes above the Collet to remain in its fire formed condition. This provides a natural flare to the case neck allowing easy and concentric seating of bullets. This is especially important when seating cast bullets or low drag coated bullets.
