8Cr13MoV stainless steel blade is durable enough to handle all your daily needs, while relatively easy to sharpen. It has similar characteristics as the well-known AUS-8 steel. 8Cr13MoV steel offers an excellent price / performance ratio. Like the AUS-8, it lacks the edge retention of high-end steels, but can be sharpened to high sharpness, is reasonably hard and corrosion resistant.
