The Caldwell XLA HD TAC bipod is designed for demanding use on heavy rifles in conditions where standard bipods bend or fail under load. The improved frame and leg design, combined with heavier-gauge materials, provides over 300% greater strength compared to similar designs.

The legs deploy quickly by pulling them down into preset height positions and retract spring-loaded at the push of a button. For shooting on uneven surfaces, the pivot mechanism allows up to 20° of cant and features a quick-release lever to securely lock the bipod in position.

The M-Lock mount is compatible with most modern rifles. The adjustable height of 6"–9" (15.2–22.9 cm) is ideal for prone shooting, bench shooting, or use from a barricade.
