This 135 grain MatchKing® bullet #1833 is the heaviest match grade bullet currently available in Sierra's line in 270 caliber. Designed for long-range accuracy, a long ogive point with small meplat and a boat tail shape give this bullet outstanding "low drag" characteristics in this caliber for maximum efficiency at extreme ranges.

This bullet is appropriate for the 270 Winchester, 270 Weatherby Magnum, and the 270 Winchester Short Magnum.

While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing® bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications. Although MatchKing® bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their design will not provide same the reliable expansion at equivalent velocities like specialized hunting bullets.
