The Speed Nut quick release nut is designed to solve one of the most tedious and frustrating parts of setting up, installing, and removing the Dillon powder measure – the butterfly nut with a sharp metal insert used to adjust the Dillon powder measure failsafe rod.

Armanov designed the Speed Nut, which can be removed or reinstalled with a simple press of a button. When released, the nut bites firmly into the rod threads and allows precise fine adjustment to your needs. After positioning, the nut is locked by tightening the button.

Lock In Feature:

The Speed Nut has an integrated locking mechanism – tightening the black knob locks it in place, preventing it from loosening during press cycles.

Installation:

1. Loosen the knob several turns to allow the spring insert full movement.

2. Press the knob in and place the nut onto the threaded rod.

3. Cycle the press and position the nut to desired setting.

4. Turn the black knob clockwise to lock and prevent movement.

Compatibility:

All presses using a Dillon powder measure with a failsafe rod.
