The purpose of the .50 BMG Carbide Primer Pocket Uniformer is to ensure that the primer pockets are consistent in depth and size, allowing the handloader to easily seat primers to a consistent depth for reliable ignition. This is particularly important for large-caliber cartridges like the .50 BMG, where reliability is critical. Using the uniformer is easy: simply insert the tool into the primer pocket and spin it using the RCBS Accessory Handle or Trim Mate Case Prep Center. The carbide cutter will remove any excess material and ensure that the primer pocket is uniform in depth and size. Designed for use with the RCBS® Accessory Handle or Trim Mate Case Prep Center.
