The main difference between corn media and walnut media:

The corncob we sell is infused with a special polish. It leaves cases nicely polished and does not produce dust.

Walnut handles coarse dirt better than corn, but the cleaned cases are not as shiny as with the corncob. The walnut media is also much cheaper.

If you want really nice cases, try cleaning them first with walnut and then with corn.

The corncob is designed for repeated use through many cleaning cycles. The lifespan of the cleaning media depends on the size and level of dirt on the cases. Unlike walnut media, the corncob does not produce dust.
