LEE Bullet Sizer & Punch .470 diameter

Bullet sizing kit for .470 diameter cast lead bullets. Also allows gas checks to be seated and crimped.

To use the Bullet Sizer & Punch Set, you need the universal Breech Lock Bullet Sizer Kit, into which the sizer is inserted, or the set can be used with the Inline Bullet Sizer Magazine Filler Kit. The set was designed specifically for the Lee Automatic Processing Press (APP), but is also suitable for any single-stage reloading press equipped with Breech Lock quick-change bushings.

Bullet Sizing

Install the universal die with the sizing insert in any press equipped with Breech Lock quick-change bushings and install the push-through punch in place of the shell holder. Each bullet is pushed through the sizing die, sizing all bullets to a consistent diameter.

Bullet Lubrication

Cast lead bullets should be lubricated twice, for example with LEE LIQUID ALOX: once before sizing and again after sizing. Lubrication is quick and easy.

Place approximately one layer of bullets in a suitable container (a round plastic bowl, small bucket, etc.), add a small amount of lubricant and move the container in a circular motion so that the bullets roll over one another and become evenly coated. After a short time, check whether the bullets are sufficiently lubricated. If necessary, continue the circular motion or add more lubricant.

Once lubricated, spread the bullets out on waxed paper and allow them to dry. Depending on temperature and humidity, drying takes approximately 24 hours.
