Hornady Lock-N-Load Die Bushings – 3 ks (#044093)
Set of three Hornady Lock-N-Load® quick-change die bushings for fast, easy and precise replacement of reloading dies without the need for readjustment.
The Lock-N-Load® system allows dies to be changed in seconds. Each die remains secured in its bushing, maintaining its original setting when reinstalled.
The bushings are designed for reloading presses equipped with the Hornady Lock-N-Load® system. With a conversion bushing, they can also be used in RCBS Rock Chucker and other reloading presses with 1¼"-12 threads.
Note: The Hornady Lock-N-Load® Press Conversion Bushing (#044095) is not included and must be purchased separately.
Instructions for Use:
The Hornady Lock-N-Load® quick-change system revolutionizes the way reloading dies are changed when switching from one caliber to another. Lock-N-Load® technology allows you to change dies and start reloading another caliber in just a few seconds.
Die Installation and Adjustment
Thread a reloading die with 7/8"-14 threads into the Lock-N-Load® Die Bushing and insert the entire assembly into the press bushing (Press Bushing).
Turn the assembly clockwise to lock it into position. Then adjust the die as usual and tighten its locking ring.
Die Removal and Replacement
To remove the die, turn the assembly counterclockwise by 1/6 of a turn (60°). The entire die and quick-change bushing assembly can then be removed and replaced with another pre-adjusted assembly.
Reloading Press Compatibility
Hornady® reloading presses come factory-equipped with the Lock-N-Load® quick-change bushing system.
Other reloading presses with 1½"-12 threads can also be converted to the Lock-N-Load® system using the Hornady® Press Conversion Kit.
