Conversion Kit for Dillon Accurized Micrometer Bullet Seating Die – .243 (6 mm)
The Dillon Accurized Conversion Kit allows you to convert your Dillon Accurized Micrometer Bullet Seating Die for use with .243 (6 mm) diameter bullets without replacing the die body. Thanks to its modular design, a single die body can accommodate different bullet diameters simply by changing the corresponding components.
The kit includes two interchangeable seating stems for bullets with tangent/hybrid and secant ogive profiles. Both stems contact the bullet near its bearing surface, where the profile is most dimensionally consistent. This design ensures precise and repeatable bullet seating, minimizes variations in base-to-ogive measurements and prevents unwanted marking of the bullet tip.
The kit also includes a case centering sleeve, which works with the die's spring-loaded mechanism to ensure concentric case alignment during bullet seating. This contributes to precise seating and helps minimize bullet runout in the finished cartridge.
