Hornady ECX™ (Extreme Copper alloy eXpanding) is a lead-free monolithic hunting bullet made from a single piece of copper alloy. It is designed to deliver high accuracy, reliable controlled expansion and deep penetration. Its design is optimized for a wide range of chamber dimensions and barrel twist rates, with particular attention given to compatibility with traditional European chamber dimensions.

MONOLITHIC COPPER ALLOY BULLET

The one-piece copper alloy construction will not separate and delivers excellent terminal performance, deep penetration and up to 95% weight retention.

FLAT POLYMER TIP

The flat polymer tip helps initiate expansion by being driven into the hollow cavity at the front of the bullet upon impact, ensuring uniform and reliable expansion.

OPTIMIZED GROOVE GEOMETRY

The grooves on the CX™ bullet are optimized to reduce aerodynamic drag. This allows the bullet to retain more velocity at longer ranges and deliver more energy on target.
