This brass is the same as standard .30-06 and .270 Winchester brass, except that it has not been formed and has no caliber designation on the headstamp. It is ideal for most .30-06-based wildcats.

This brass has not been annealed and will require body annealing prior to forming and possibly neck annealing after forming, depending on how far the neck is reduced. Wall thickness at the case mouth is approximately 0.010", the same as standard .30-06 brass before forming (walls will thicken and the case will lengthen during forming). Shorter wildcats may require neck turning to achieve proper neck wall thickness. Length is approximately 2.525".

Note: Since this is a basic case and Starline has no control over how it is formed, we accept no liability and offer no warranty for its use or your inability to properly form cases. We also recommend keeping pressures within SAAMI limits of the parent cartridge. Because this case has not been formed, there may be more out-of-round mouths than normal.
