The progressive spiral grooves provide excellent in-flight stability and outstanding accuracy, even at extended ranges.

The Borra-Proiettile slug can be used in both choked and rifled barrels. As it passes through the choke, it automatically adapts by reducing its diameter.

The slug is designed to rotate during flight. For this reason, the manufacturer does not recommend the use of rifled chokes, as they may damage the aerodynamic profiles and reduce accuracy.

Key Features:

• Innovative design: Equipped with self-compressing guide rings that protect the barrel from damage. This design allows the Borra-Proiettile slug to be safely fired through both choked and rifled barrels.
• Uniform overall height: The slug is permanently attached to the wad, which also acts as a shock absorber thanks to its tubular element (patented design). This enables the use of different powder charge volumes while maintaining the same overall cartridge length.
• External design: Aerodynamic profile with progressive spiral grooves and stabilizing fins that promote slug rotation and ensure stable flight.
• Internal design: Two pre-engineered fracture zones allow controlled deformation upon impact, initiated by the central pin, increasing terminal performance.
