Ballistol FlexClean II – Bore Cleaning Cable
Cleaning semi-automatic rifles and shotguns can be challenging for many shooters. Everyone knows that cleaning a barrel from the muzzle end is not ideal, as it can easily damage the crown. If you want to avoid this risk (and do not own a firearm such as an SKS, where the bolt can be easily removed), you essentially have two options: a bore snake or a similar pull-through cleaning system.
This is exactly why the Ballistol FlexClean II cleaning cable was developed. The cable is highly flexible and will not damage your firearm, as it is covered with a thick protective polymer coating. The cable ends are made of brass, making them safe for use inside the bore.
Using the Ballistol FlexClean II is simple and effective. Feed the cable through the barrel from the chamber toward the muzzle, blunt end first. The handle is then attached to this end. Attach the appropriate brush or felt cleaning adapter to the threaded end, install the handle and pull the cable through the bore.
