.22/250 Remington Micrometer Neck Sizing Die Set

The Lee Neck Sizing Die Set includes a neck-sizing die (combined decapping/neck-sizing die that sizes the case neck only), a micrometer bullet-seating die, a universal shell holder, a powder dipper and instructions. This set is intended for reloading brass that has been fired only in your specific firearm.

Using these dies produces the most accurate ammunition by neck-sizing only; the rest of the case is left as-fired. Cases resized this way are fire-formed to the exact chamber of the rifle from which they were originally fired, so they undergo less case deformation on subsequent firings than newly formed or full-length resized cases. That yields more consistent primer/start pressure and therefore improved accuracy. Such ammunition should be used reliably only in the same firearm from which the cases were fired. Not recommended for use in semi-automatic or lever-action rifles; typically used with bolt-action rifles.

          Set contains:

          • Neck Sizing Die (combined decapping / neck-sizing die that sizes the case neck only)
          • Micrometer Bullet Seating Die (precision seating die with micrometer adjustment)
          • Universal Shell Holder
          • Powder Dipper
          • Instructions

Note: Nothing improves accuracy more than uniform start pressure – the level of pressure required to initiate bullet movement down the bore. Bullet seating depth affects this important pressure. For best accuracy, seat the bullet so that the ogive touches or nearly touches the rifling.

If your firearm has a magazine that limits overall length and prevents the bullet from touching the rifling, restore accuracy by using the Lee Factory Crimp Die accessory.
