The 142 grain #1742 bullet has a longer ogive radius than the 140 grain #1740 bullet and thus a higher ballistic coefficient with less sensitivity to crosswinds.

This bullet requires a barrel twist rate of 1x8” or faster.

Although MatchKing® bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their design will not provide same the reliable expansion at equivalent velocities like specialized hunting bullets.
