AXIS Comparator Body

The AXIS Comparator Body is designed for measuring bullets, cartridge case headspace, or loaded cartridges at the bullet ogive.

It helps achieve high precision when seating bullets and enables accurate measurement and comparison of bullets as well as measurement of cartridge case shoulder position.

It is made of anodized aluminum. Both attachment of the comparator to the caliper and installation of the measuring insert are secured with a brass screw, so no tools are required to use the comparator.

The package includes the comparator body only. Caliber-specific measuring inserts are sold separately:

• AXIS Bump Comparator Insert – 30°B (6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5×47 Lapua, etc.)

For maximum measurement accuracy, the manufacturer recommends using the comparator body together with the AXIS Comparator Anvil Base, which provides a stable and flat support surface for the case head.
