Reloading Presses – Which One to Buy?

Want to get into reloading but not sure which press to choose? Watch our instructional video that introduces two of the most commonly used reloading presses and walks you through the basic steps of the reloading process. You'll see how a classic single-stage press works — a popular choice among reloaders — and how to use bushings to mount your dies. The video demonstrates how to work with resizing, seating, and crimping dies, and explains why it's essential to lubricate your brass cases before resizing. You'll also learn how to hand-prime and seat a bullet using a seating die.
In the second part, you'll get familiar with the turret press, which allows you to easily rotate between stages like resizing, powder charging (with the Auto Drum powder measure), bullet seating, and crimping. We explain when crimping is necessary, what to watch out for, and how to properly adjust your press.
Safety is the top priority when reloading. Precision, correct setup of your equipment, and choosing the right press all ensure that your finished round is not only safe but functions reliably in your firearm.
